The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that foster the engagement and growth of our customer base.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build a social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, company goals and audience identification
  • Manage a high volume of social media posts
  • Analyze social trends and develop strategy plans to reach the right audiences
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Plan, create, publish and share relevant content that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness and encourages customers to engage with the brand
  • Create and plan editorial calendars and syndication schedules for each brand
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new products
  • Collaborate with other marketing channels for cross-channel marketing campaigns
  • Build creative requests for both cross-channel marketing campaigns, social campaigns, & giveaways
  • Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social metrics, insights & best practices and acting on that information
  • Monitor customer engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Monitor brand mentions and suggest content optimization
  • Moderate and utilize user-generated content in line with each social media channel’s moderation policies
  • Collaborate with web design/development team to connect user-generated content where necessary
  • Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies – be a trendsetter
  • Using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights to define and analyze most important social media KPI’s
  • Prepare monthly reporting on social media marketing efforts
  • Assist with other social media, influencer, & content duties as needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of relevant social media experience and knowledge of digital technology
  • Possess customer-centric mindset
  • Curiosity to learn more about evolving technologies & retail industry
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Can effectively collaborate in a team environment with a positive attitude and constructive communication – you’re excited to be part of a team that challenges you and succeeds together!
  • Extreme attention to detail – you’re diligent about double-checking work

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Google Analytics
  • Experience with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  • Experience with social media marketing and social analytics tools knowledge and able to take action
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and each platform’s advertising policies
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
